pic5Monmouthshire County Council provides five centres across the county where each centre offers a variety of opportunities for members of the public to learn both new skills and build on existing ones.

Each Community Learning Centre runs a wide variety of courses suitable for the whole community including Computers, Languages, English & Maths, Art & Craft, Floristry, English for Speakers of Other Languages, and many others.

pic1So whether you are a new or returning learner, Monmouthshire Community Learning are sure that you will find your time at their centres an exciting, challenging and rewarding experience.

Abergavenny Community Learning - Art and Crafts

The programme of courses and workshops are held in Abergavenny at the Abergavenny Youth & Community Education Centre, Old Hereford Road, NP7 6EL.

All of the art courses are taught by Emma Prydderch Price.

The art and craft courses that will be running are set out below.  For more detail of the course click on the various links:

Intermediate Watercolour - Mondays 9.30 to 11.30am, starting 10th September 2018.

Improvers – Art Mixed Media - Mondays 2pm to 4pm, starting 10th September 2018.

Beginners – Art Mixed Media Mondays 4.30pm to 6.30pm, starting 10th September 2018.

Intermediate – Art Mixed Media  Wednesdays 9.30am to 11.30am starting 12th September 2018

Art Portraits – Wednesdays 12.30pm to 2.30pm, starting 12th September 2018.

 The Cost

All of these courses are to run for 15 weeks, and the cost for each 15 week course is £120.
